FAIRCHILD

Dr.
Fairchild is a principal engineer with Boeing. Prior to Boeing,
he has been an independent consultant for applied computer
technology, a manager of process simulation with International
Coal Refining Company, an engineer and manager with Electronic
Associates, and an engineer with Monsanto Company.
He
is president of the Society for Modeling and Simulation International,
a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers,
the Association for Computing Machinery, the Military Operations
Research Society, the Society of the Sigma Xi (honorary research),
Sigma Tau Fraternity (honorary engineering scholastic), and
a life member of Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity (honorary for
college bandsmen).
He
received B.S., M.S.E., and Ph.D. degrees from the University
of Florida in 1959, 1961, and 1965, majoring in chemical engineering
with minors in electrical engineering, nuclear engineering,
and statistics.
