WALLACE

 

Jeffrey W. Wallace is the CEO of EnvoyTek, Inc., a company specializing in business, engineering, and scientific products and services utilizing modeling, simulation, and intelligent systems software in the U.S. and abroad. This includes the commercialization of several successful DoD developed technologies and applying them to new areas, such as cancer research systems. Mr. Wallace has twenty years of experience in artificial intelligence (AI), modeling and simulation (M&S), and high performance computing. Over the last five years Mr. Wallace has either been the chief architect or senior system engineer for five of the most complex simulation systems for the Department of Defense, interfacing at the highest levels in the Office of Secretary of Defense for Science and Technology. Currently, one of Mr. Wallace’s projects is the Design Lead for the Joint Synthetic Battlespace (JSB) Experiment.

Mr. Wallace led the development of a 5th generation, dual-purpose modeling and simulation – AI language called IMPORT and has published over 40 technical papers and edited five books in modeling and simulation. Mr. Wallace has been lead technical editor or program chair of proceedings for a number of International programs specifically in the AI, M&S and high performance computing. He is the Vice President for Membership and Board of Directors for the Society for Modeling and Simulation International, and participated in the formation of Modeling and Simulation Professional Certification Commission. He has a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
