LIGHTNER

 

Mr. Lightner serves as Director of the Professional Training and Education Group for The AEgis Technologies Group Inc. In this role, Mr. Lightner establishes, communicates and fosters the vision, goals and agenda for researching, developing and providing comprehensive training and education offerings on simulation technologies and techniques and their application in achieving real world objectives. He provides leadership and guidance to program managers and staff assigned to projects within this technology group. In addition, Mr. Lightner works with company leadership to develop growth strategies for business areas within the Professional Training and Education Group and coordinates with other technology group leads to insure a company wide focus to all activities.

Mr. Lightner is on the Board of Directors of the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO), Inc. where is serves as the Treasurer. He is also a member of SISO’s Standards Activity Committee and the Research, Development and Engineering Planning Review Panel. He is also an active member of the Society for Computer Simulation where he serves as the Co-Chairman of the Professional Education and Training Chapter. Mr. Lightner is a Charter member of the Modeling and Simulation Professional Certification Commission (M&SPCC) and an M&SPCC certified M&S Professional.
